The Blood Cemetery is also known as the Pine Hill cemetery, and it is located in Hollis, New Hampshire. Despite the gruesome name, it didn’t come from a battle or bloodshed. It came from the man Abel Blood, who has been buried there since 1867. It is open today, and the public can go inside and investigate. However, because of vandalism that broke Abel Blood’s grave, police and security are monitoring the entire cemetery closely. They watch especially closely on Halloween night, so if you visit, be careful. The Blood Cemetery is six acres large, and it has graves dating back to the 1700s. Abel and his family are buried in the center of the other graves. This is why guests believe Abel is haunting the site. That and he’s angry that his grave got vandalized. 

Cemeteries always have a spooky atmosphere, and it doesn’t help when guests have seen proof of ghosts haunting the place. Abel Blood is the most common ghost roaming the graveyard, and he is recognizable due to his pointed finger. Blood is the most popular ghost as well as the most common. His finger points up toward the heavens during the daytime, and at night, his finger points down. There is no explanation for his strange behavior and why he does the finger pointing. The evidence that these ghosts are roaming come from paranormal investigators and guests. The common reports include orbs showing up in pictures, unexplained coldness even on hot days, strange voices heard, and tapping sounds coming from all different directions. No other ghosts have been named, but there’s evidence of their existence due to those reports. Abel Blood is the most active ghost, and he’s been spotted many times wandering around his cemetery.
