The Devil’s Canyon is a haunted site located in McCook, Nebraska, and it is open to the public today. It is known for being the area where a tragedy occurred over a hundred years ago. There was a killing that happened there, and because of that, the public thinks it’s a haunted place. It is called the Devil’s Canyon because of the violent history it has. A man is said to have taken his wife and children out to this canyon. Once they arrived in the canyon, his intentions were malice. He killed his wife and children, and after the deed was done, he took his own life as well. He was nicknamed “The Duke” when paranormal investigators said that there’s a ghost still roaming the area. The tragedy that happened there is a common tale, and investigators have called Devil’s Canyon Nebraska’s version of Freddy Kruger.

He also toys with other mechanical objects, like cameras and phones, and forces them to malfunction and shut down. His ghost becomes the most active at night, and he has been spotted walking along the vicinity as well as in the Devil’s Canyon’s path itself. For those who have seen him, they have reported that the man likes to invade their dreams as well, causing a plentiful amount of nightmares.
